Arising out of a heritage of faith, New Hope desires to impact our community through a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled approach of love and mercy. It is our faith in Christ Jesus that can truly heal and rebuild our lives and the lives of those we seek to help.

Every person is the loving creation of God and made within God’s image. As such, we desire to treat everyone with grace, dignity, and respect. Our services are open to all no matter one’s race, religion, sex, life style, orientation, abilities, or mental health.

Serving others is the heartbeat of Christ and foundational to the biblical narrative of a loving God. Helping those who are in need should be void of any ulterior motives. Compassion is its own reward.

No one program or organization can meet all the needs of our city. It is only when we partner together that we can truly change the cycle of poverty. We seek to form partnerships throughout Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, and Alaska with churches, community non-profits, and other organizations to fight poverty.

The core of what we do can be found in the heart of our volunteers. Without them, we would not be able to accomplish the goals set before us. Developing a strong volunteer base is necessary for success. Volunteers are the life blood of New Hope.

We understand that it is due to the generosity of churches, corporate sponsors, friends, and strangers that New Hope on the Last Frontier is able to impact our community. Thank you, all those who contribute or have contributed to our success, you are greatly appreciated.
